Where do I begin?
Well, you already know my name is Savio (he / him).
I was born in Mumbai, India, but my ancestral heritage is from Goa, India, a former Portuguese colony located on the southwestern coast.
My family and I moved to the United States in the late '70s when I was only three years old.
Throughout my elementary and high school years in the suburbs of New York, I was a sensitive child who was plagued by social anxiety and a stuttering impediment.
While in college at Fordham University in New York City, I faced several challenges, from sexual identity to speaking my mind and expressing my individuality.
My professional life was fraught with hurdles of acceptance, confusion, and following paths that many in my social circle
feared to tread.
My intense curiosity and study over the past twenty years
have afforded me greater clarity into the human condition.

I bring with me a diverse range of experiences from my culture, and the fight for human rights, to my extensive work history in the food, TV production, hospitality, IT, marketing, and wellness industries.
As a media journalist, I have interviewed notable celebrities including tennis champion, Venus Williams; TV personalities, Debra Messing, Carson Kressley, Ice-T; and voice actor, Rob Paulsen.
I have also been invited to cover numerous industry events including the Web Summit, Ascend Conference, Global Wellness Summit, Consumer Electronics Show ( CES ), and South by Southwest ( SXSW ).
My secret sauce
I can scan a room and look for a solution to any problem, and am OBSESSED with dreaming of things that could be.

I have failed more times than I have succeeded, but I am always willing to take a risk and try.
